Saw dust gets everywhere! Also, clean up quickly as the sawdust will absorb oil and leave bare surfaces unprotected. Image below is from a tear down on a used machine I picked up that had been used for wood. The saw dust actually made it under the table and back into the oiler channels.

Likewise an output from the CNC is an F input to the PMC which must "connect" the F input to a Y output which can then drive a device (indicator, solenoid valve, relay).
